This beautiful outdoor country style North Carolina wedding was submitted to me by the bride herself and what I absolutely love about this wedding is the meaningful details that this couple chose to work into their special day. The alter at the outdoor wedding ceremony was actually a piece of the bride’s great-great grandmother’s dining table and the linens on the alter table belonged to the groom’s great-great grandmother… it is details like those that love to share since it acts as such great inspiration for all you other brides out there. There are more great details from this wedding below!
In July of 1945, my mom’s parents met over a bottled Coca-Cola in France where they were both stationed. Year after year, our family celebrates Coca-Cola day together, even though my grandparents have been gone for fifteen years. So in their memory and in honor of the fifty year+ marriages of our other three sets of grandparents, we hosted a Coke-tail Hour between the ceremony and tented reception.
